Some people take advantage of the anonymity of the internet (the ability to withhold their identity) to let their mean sides take over, saying things to people they would probably NEVER say face to face.  Let's take a look at some of the consequences of these actions and the steps we must take to prevent them.   Answer the following questions using the resource links posted below.







1.   Define cyberbullying.  Give 3 examples.


2.   How is cyberbullying different from other forms of bullying?


3.   Name two things you should do if you are being cyberbullied.


4.   Name two things you can do to prevent cyberbullying.


5.   If someone sends you a mean or threatening message, explain why you shouldn't respond.  What should you do instead?


6.   What are some possible consequences for those who cyberbully?


7.   Who can you share your passwords with?


8.   List some items you think should be included in our school's Internet Safety Tips.
